bobdamnit Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 If GUID was used, you must boot UEFI in BIOS for Windows 8.1 to work. Otherwise, format the drive as MBR and disable UEFI in BIOS and go back to "legacy" BIOS. There are other workarounds, but thats the easiest method.
