theampbuilder Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 Ran Myhack with a fresh 10.8 install file. Booting on USB took forever, Installing took around 4-5 hours. Intel models need to use the special MPLF hack... You should also start by checking and ensuring your BIOS parameters are configured asper recommended settings. The USB key should never take more than a couple of minutes to load and installation about 30mins. There's probably something wrong with the USB key installer. For the mouse/trackpad, there are various kexts but I can't remember which is the one that works best.
