Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 24, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 24, 2015 Yes, sound is important, but the patched AppleHDA from the link is for my E7440 (ALC292). The OP already have the AppleHDA patched for your model ALC283. Did you repair cache and permission after replacing the files? sudo touch /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U /

Nothing worked Rehabman suggested that I do a Linux check and thats what came out He said that this image shows that there's no Intel MEI and os x requires it for graphics he said its a hardware fault and there's nothing to do about . Of course if anyone had any suggestion or anyway to fix that I'll be super excited to try it .
Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 25, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 25, 2015 There seems to be some errors with your DSDT/SSDT and you're missing ssdt-3 from the guide. Can you attach the entire origin SSDT/DSDT unpatched export from Clover with F4?
