Andy
I followed the steps in Wiki for Snow Leopard install using USB pen. On the first boot of 10.6, before EDP, chameleon steps, and upgrade I had sound. Then I did EDP,chameleon and then the 10.6.8 update. After restart, I had no sound. I did EDP again to get the sound back. Should the upgrade happen before the EDP and chameleon so drivers are not over written? I saw in tonycrap86 that they advise on this order: upgrade, multifail (EDP), chameleon. Or did I miss something that caused the no sound? Thanks. Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 1, 2011 Administrators Share Posted November 1, 2011 no your correct in your order... bootloader never gets overwritten by osx updates. so update first then edp if you already have a running edp system.
