45br Posted January 7, 2016 Author Share Posted January 7, 2016 I did use BearExtender first, but after numerous trials and fails, I found another tutorial which used that Ralink prefpane. Ralink prefpane works well on my desktop hackintosh (ML).I also installed ACPI Battery driver, which introduced back to me the shutdown issue. I installed it but did not change/patch my DSDT. I guess installing any kext which is not supported in your DSDT (not sure I am saying this right), will result in a blackscreen+cursor for 5+ minutes when shutdown is executed.This is getting out of hand Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 7, 2016 Why don't you remove the DSDT and SSDT, reboot it to Clover, hit F4 to extract the RAW files. Note that it does not have the Microsoft\Boot\BCD file because it is being in use by my system, ergo it was not allowed to be compressed.Thanks a lot for helping me on this.
