I want to buy a new wireless card for my hackintosh and from that i want this feature,,, 1, i can be able to make hotspot with new usb adpter 2 good for a hackintosh please suggest me the supported wifi card list and i have a pre installed card which is Qualcom Atheros QCA64x1 in z51-70 can i replace it with Atheros AR9285 please suggest what i do for wireless card in lenovo z51-70 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lenovo systems often suffer from whitelist BIOS which limits the choice of mini-PCIe/half mini-PCIe cards, so check out the Lenovo web site 1st. No such issue with USB dongles. Matteo.dL Posted May 7, 2016 Share Posted May 7, 2016 On page 95 of the repair and maintenance manual for this notebook there are three combo cards (WIFI including Bluetooth) listet which are on the white list of the BIOS.
