Administrators Leon Posted November 20, 2011 Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2011 Maybe.. i usually stick to Intel and runcore drives.. can't speak for the other onces.. sadly.. but.. thats what we get for playing with hackingt0shing.. however, alternative to TRIM, is to (eg. every week) run a erase-free-space on the drive
xpeace
Hi ! The D620 has no AHCI SATA Option, it has been locked in the BIOS by Dell - afaik the Chipset would support this, ... so it`s not possible to use Trim in OSX using the Dell620Latitude. If someone has a solution - please enlighten us. PS. I would not recommend a Disk Erase Program that will write 0s or whatever on the Drive. Fast Format, and installing a Backup may help on severely slowed down devices. Greets xpeace
