Administrators Hervé Posted November 30, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 30, 2016 Why do you use that kext?
thedonkeyrider
"To rebuild kext cache." The command "sudo kextcache -Boot -U /" didn't work. Then I got the attached error:
Administrators Hervé Posted December 1, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 1, 2016 That command is only supported from Yosemite 10.10. On earlier versions, use sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel (whih is also supported on later versions).
thedonkeyrider
Ah that explains the trouble. I am still working on 10.7.5. So I rebuilded cachce on a 10.11.5 system. That worked allright, except for one kext (attach 1) Starting up the resulting USB key on the latitude6410, the boot still didn't run very far (attach2)... Any ideas?
