vinces
I have an E5550 with an Intel 530 240 GB ssd installed. When I get Clover to boot OSX Sierra, I can't find the SSD. I have managed to install Sierra on a 16 stick. But ´no luck finding the SSD using sierra. The disk is formatted to fat32.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted November 2, 2016 Make sure BIOS has AHCI enabled. Make sure you have HFSPlus.efi in /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI
vinces
Thanks! The source of the problem was AHCI. Followed your guide on installing El Capitan, and the machine is finally up and running. One small problem though. When running the EFI mounter it doesn't allow me to mount the image. spidey123
Have you given Clover Configurator a shot? Maybe give that a shot and see if that gives you the same error. One thing I've found was that when I tried to install Clover to my EFI partition it would always install into the folder on the root of the drive. So using Clover configurator I would mount the EFI and the copy the EFI folder into it, obviously modifying the contents with the proper ACPI patches, kexts and config.plist and removing all other folders inside Kext folder except for the "others" folder, where all my kexts needed are placed.
