levifunk
hi there! so, i have been able to successfully install osx via the image in the wiki on my d630. however, i'm not able to go past the apple logo with the spinning gear (it disappears, and the screen goes black). i'm new to this, so i don't know if this is normal or not... Raistlin5
Go into bios and under device info check what your graphic resolution is.If it's 1440 x 900 then you will need a hi res dsdt.

(0xd00400a) (0xdc008017) i think those are the two hanging me up, but i'm not sure how to solve these when even my usb is giving me KP now. seems i got lucky on the initial install... hahaha
Administrators Bronxteck Posted December 13, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 13, 2011 ok... try -v -x then fix disk permissions with diskutility if it boots, then rebuild your caches
levifunk
i'm using the image that was put together in the wiki, so i'm not real sure where to input the "-x." i can boot into verbose because there's a dropdown menu from the bootloader included in the image...
