E7450 | Clover 4077 | macOS 10.12.5

Hi everybody,

 

as the image attached to this post, I find some troubles in updating Clover to the latest v. 4077.

 

As you can see, I cannot select any EFI partition where to update clover.

 

Any idea? This is not a great problem: laptop is working on clover 4061 but I could find some troubles in the futures

You just select the Internal drive where OS X is installed. In your case, it' Machintosh SSD. It'll automatically update to the EFI partition.

Ok..it was bad..this update broke the audio!!!

Just run the permission fix and rebuild cache. No big deal.

 

sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E*

sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E*

sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E*

sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E*

sudo touch -f /L*/E*

sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E*

sudo kextcache -Boot -U /

Ok this worked.

 

In a previous post you suggested me to install the EmuVariableUefi-64.efi (in order to make brightness set at startup) as the attached screenshot and this broke the audio.

 

I had to uninstall it and than audio worked

As I said above in post #5, running those commands will fix it. I have EmuVariableUefi-64.efi running perfectly fine.
