Should I downgrade bios or upgrade bios?

clean installed Sierra...

 

no webcam appears...

 

system information states "no video capture devices were found"

... I fixed it

 

Didn't follow the directions...

 

... didn't copy the EFI folder from the USB

 

Now it works 100%

it is enabled...

 

Apple RTC is enabled

Asus AICPUPM is enabled...

 

Nothing else is enabled...

The system configuration tab in Bios only indicates Intel Video...

 

Don't see any nVidia graphics...

Have installed Sierra to E6530 using the Clover guide...

 

upon restart with -v -f, I get a kernel panic with AppleIntelCPUPower...

 

How do I fix this?

I need to fix Audio on my E6230 El Capitan...

 

Exactly what do you do with these two kext?

 

Do they go into  Clover kext folder, /S/L/E or /L/E?

 

Are the Clover on the fly patches done in Clover Config?

 

I have an E6230, 2.9ghz, El Capitan 10.11.6

 

Everything else works except Audio...

It is fully installed now...

 

However, with iMessage it only allows text messages not "iMessage" messages...

 

Is this a serial number issue?

Had been chasing a rabbit all day Sat...

1. Created installation USB per the Clover guide : https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-precision-clover-guide/&do=findComment&comment=58699

2. problem occurs after installer has completed and booting to the HD (the next step is when you setup the user / ethernet etc...)

3. the machine shows a kernel panic.

4. I am not able to complete the install
