  1. Sorry, for the long wait. The site rejects my links to the pictures in my OneDrive. So I have included the direct links to them instead. http://1drv.ms/1x86u2B http://1drv.ms/1x86zDf http://1drv.ms/1x86DDa http://1drv.ms/1x86G1C http://1drv.ms/1x86JdO http://1drv.ms/1x86MXe
  2. Sorry, I've been really tied up with a Term Project. To start off, I didn't go through a clean install. I installed Mavericks onto an external HDD using a MacBook Air. Then added the necessary files from there. There were also a few things that I changed in the BIOS in order for everything to work. I'll take some pictures of the BIOS changes for you when I have more free time in the upcoming weeks.
  3. Attached is the HP 8300 Elite Extra folder from my install. Hope someone finds this useful! Extra - 8300.zip
  4. Yep reinstalling the 3 problematic removed kexts by myhack and setting IntelCapriFB=9/ GraphicsEnabler=Yes did the trick. Thanks again for your help Bronxteck! I will be making a donation to your/ the site efforts and posting my Extra folder for anyone else who may need it.
  5. That's odd. It seems like your still booting into safe mode. The flag -x=Safe Mode and -f=Ignore Cache. It looks like Hervé, may lead you on a better path since you need to get your DSDT patched for your GPU. I wonder if any of those DSP cards are interfering with your boot up. Maybe you could try booting with those cards installed?
  6. I will try removing the EFI string and insert IntelCapriFB to 9. Do I have to set GraphicsEnabler to Yes? Yes I removed the 3 problematic kexts using myhack during the installation. Do I have to reinstall any of the removed kexts to get rid of the DRM error? Thank you for your help!
  7. If you Logout and see the words Safe Mode on the top right corner, then it's in Safe Mode.
  8. Don't want to hijack this thread, but I ran into the same problem when using a GT430 on an OptiPlex 755. Luckily, I had an 8400GS card laying around to install RealVNC. Then I swapped the GT430 back in order to generate the proper EFI strings and merge with the NIC strings for the system to work properly. Hope this info helps out.
  9. Bronxteck and Jake Lo, I'm hoping you guys would be able to help with a small dilemma on a similar system as Dell Optiplex 9010. Using a myhack approach, I was able to install Mavericks on an HP 8300 Elite. However, I can't get Mavericks to boot properly without the -x flag. The PC contains a Core i7-3770, HD4000, Intel 82579 NIC and ALC 221. I'm using the 9010 boot pack without the AppleACPIPlatform and VoodooHDA version 2.5 kext. I get the kernel panic message below, unless boot into Safe Mode: [iOBluetoothHCIController][searchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! DRMStatus: iTunes/Apple Store Content Access Problem. Content playback may be disabled on this computer. You can Continue to use the machine, but you should contact an Apple support representative. ErrorCode: 8877652 I've attached SystemInfo (Windows app that is similar to DPCIManger) screenshot, if needed. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!!!
  10. Everything in the OptiPlex 755 BootPack should be present. If you are using a newer version of FakeSMC, make sure there are no plugins installed. Additionally, you will have to overwrite a few kexts with those from 10.8.4 into S/L/E as outlined in this post. Lastly, remove the Kernel Flag line and change UseKernelCache to No in org.chameleon.boot.plist.
  11. For those of you on Mavericks with working Facetime, can you please try the app and reply if you run into any problems with the other person not being able to hear after ten minutes or so. I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance!
  12. I had Clover working on an Optiplex 755 with Mountain Lion 10.8.5. The only problem I have ever ran into and this was even when I had tried with Chameleon, the sound would become completely garbled using VoodooHDA after ten minutes or so of Facetime usage. After several attempts with different VoodooHDA versions, I had to revert back to 10.7.5 and VoodooHDA 2.8.4 for everything to work properly. I am not sure if it is anything related to running OS X in 64bit. I used both the EDP install and another method in one of the threads on this forum with the arch=i386 flag removed. Oh BTW, to the OP try using this app to configure Clover. I usually manual edit my config file and have tried the app once, which quite easy to use.
