  1. @@Jack Doe Hi. My install is on a USB 1tb NVME. I have not tried to install to the internal NVME yet. I'm still facing resolution issues, the sound doesn't work and the trackpad, well you know. I'm toying with the idea of buying one but if there are a couple folks that want to work together I'm happy to do so. Work was crazy for past month...
  2. @Jake Lo is there other data I can provide?
  3. Graphics on laptop screen good, but I have a big monitor and it's not working at optimum res. As you say, the trackpad works but jumpy and no buttons. Focusing on monitor, then will go into audio and trackpad.
  4. and the IOfile without switchresX enabled. micheajp-v2.1-noSwitchX.ioreg
  5. Attached are two versions. I tried SwitchResX and was able to bump up resolutions, but not to native 3840x1400. micheajp-v2.1.ioreg
  6. Does not have an effect. Also tried some other flags. No change.
  7. Lol. Yes, here's a shot of each. The hub is separate as I mentioned. Nic is Port_#0004.Hub_#0002, Hub is Port_#0002.Hub_#0001
  8. Does ioreg have a windows version for reading the tree? I can't reboot and look at this for a couple hours. Yes. This device has 2x hubs hanging off of one USB3 A input. The NIC is wired to the USB3 hub. The actual device is here. https://www.cnet.com/products/macally-u3hubgb-network-adapter/
  9. Re:atheros NIC. As you'll see in that last ioreg I was able to get my usb NIC working. The remaining issue is it's showing up in the wrong tree. This is an all-in one 3 port USB2 hub with the NIC showing up on it's own USB3 device. (note the pics below. At first the Nic appears on it's own from my initial EFI posting. The second pic it's not. What should I look at to fix this? ACPI mapping?
  10. In regards to the USB-C DP out, the frequencies are locked to 59.9 / 1920 x 1080. This is a 60hz native monitor with a much higher resolution. Is there something I can tune to unlock it? debug_12720.zip
  11. Debug attached. FYI, the USB-C must be emulating the HDMI. It works, but not as a DP as it should (max res isn't available). debug_12720.zip
  12. Very cool, thank you, huge improvement! Graphics and HDMI now good. Will test USB-C shortly. USB atheros NIC is missing from USB hub now. Is this a PCI remap issue? Trackpad is also working, however in a way I'd describe as jumpy. How do I tune this?

  14. Hello! Using your wonderful site I've been able to install Mojave 10.14.2 on my 7490. I'm even booting off an external USB-C NVME caddy until later when I can swap the internal NVME out. (still need the os on there for the time being). I'm also using a USB AC600 until purchased DW1830 appears. However, I'm still struggling to get the trackpad and the sound working. Assistance is requested, thanks in advance.
