Hello,

Can some on e prefer me some buying guide for new laptop. This time i want to try get good laptop who can do GPU acceleration(not only Intel's). Good screen, 8+ GB RAM, battery life even with slot who support original wifi card from apple. My budget is around 900 euro.

Now i have ASUS A55V with K55VM MB ver. With Intel igpu only. 6gb ram. 2x240 ssd's. I can't get Mojave working what ever i do it wouldn't run. Can't get newest XCode version. I had bought  Mojave compatible wifi+bt card and it works great in K55VM with my 5Gh home network. I have Ubuntu, Windows and MacOS High Sierra on this laptop working great. But i want tier up my gear but i don't want buy Apple device. 

Please give me some guides.

HS boots ok... but for Mojave can't past start

@Jake LoCan this mess with HS and then i can't boot in any of them? + what kind of memory info i should look for?

@Jake Lo bootloop APPLE logo but it works so far from just install as helper in High Sierra.... on boot selected Boot from Mojave Install...  and it restart pc  or stay at logo.

So i installed 2nd ssd in dvd room place. so i have 2 ssd's 1 have now High Sierra and second is for Mojave but i cant get Mojave installer working even by this method....

Now I think is time to upgrade to Mojave....

Can't update Xcode with High Sierra 10.13.6 anymore. 

So to make flashable USB for Mojave i will do usual stuff. But is it possible to get working ASUS K55VM Mojave? What kexts I should use at start in clover boot. Same as High Sierra what I use now?

@Hervé Thanks... I will consider this. 

@Jake Lo Have you some idea how maybe I can enable handoff.... If you look above then you see it works from Mac--->iPhone but not from iPhone----> Mac. Other thinks work wifi 5ghz, air drop, BT only handoff is missing full functions.

@Hervé I am so addicted to get everything working right....  strange behaviour is that HACHINTOSH -> iPhone handoff works great every safari page and iMessage can open on iPhone but not on Mac/hackintosh... even when it shows all in corner...

can't fix handoff for CE123H by myself. Any tip... I tried change wifi id.... aded kernel and kext patches.  no luck

@Jake Lo As usually your hint was right... changed SMBIOS to PRO9,1 and BT start and works.... AirDrop work, 5Ghz wifi works.... even message app can send messages but not in link with Xs MAX... 

Thanks for everything for now... I got feeling I will have more questions later while using this for XCODE and finding things what I don't see now in hackintosh.

Hands-off don't works... maybe you can help with that... first I will do research by my self.

@Jake Lo or @Hervé Nop.... can't get BT working by my self. strange before when wifi didn't work BT works.

Changed SMBIOS to AIR6,2 + airportbrcmfixup.kext in clover solve wifi problems it's now going strong. now I should fix bt and I think I know that I should do to make it working.

I use them only one ar once... L/E if dont work deleted and then S/L/E same with clover used only 1 location at time. Smbios pro 9,1 i think. Will try 14e4:43b1 tomorow.

@Jake Lo I did clover version and then L/E and then S/L/E with fake id in clover non of them works.

@HervéNot working + i have question should i copy it over EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin or patched i copy over both of them

For your AW-CE123H, just follow the instructions at the end of my previous post. You may also cleanup your kexts folder and remove all those related to Atheros hardware. If you also update to the latest Lilu + WhateverGreen + AppleALC, you should no longer need those old Shiki + IntelGraphicsFixup kexts that are now outdated.

 

@Hervé I will delete those then... and add those you mention. EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS/OTHER

@Hervé Now one step closer it appears right but this look different.... should it be changed too?

@Hervé Now it's AzureWave AW-CE123H previous one was DW1702.... that mean something left from previous patching while DW1702 were in.

I should use macIASL app for this yes? i should find lines in first row and then replace them with second row?
