  1. Thanks Slice, I'll try it now! Edit: Here's the results: - VoodooPS2: The cursor is extreme fast, and scrolling very buggy. Sometimes touchpad buttons are not working, dragging not works too. - ApplePS2: Better, but still fast, scrolling almost works, but touchpad buttons not working, also dragging not works too. So I'm still using Bronxteck's VoodooPS2.
  2. westlos420, Just download Bronxteck's VoodooPS2 from the kexts research topic.
  3. Yes, it's an original Dell battery. The problem came around a month or two, when I installed Chameleon RC5, and Mariusz's DSDT. Revert to the old DSDT and bootloader didn't help. I think I do a fresh install when EDP 1.5 final is released.
  4. I've attached the BIOS screenshots, seems like it's working properly. I've tried to revert to AsereBLN, but my system can't even boot, I've got kernel panic about AppleIntelCPUManagement: No HPETs, and cpus configured incorrectly. So now I'm using Chameleon RC5 r687. I've replaced VoodooBattery with AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext, but now it's says: "Service Battery". Do you have any ideas how to get rid of that message? Right now I'm using the following power management kexts: VoodooPowerMini, AppleACPIBatteryManager, and Mariusz's DSDT, with Chameleon RC5 r687 Thanks for the help!
  5. Okay, I'll test it tomorrow!
  6. Okay, I'll try it. But it seems like SpeedStep is working with voodoopower. Or it's just fake speedstep? I've attached my CPU-X screenshot: And... what about "battery replace soon" message? It's normal, or it's because the DSDT or bootloader? Again, it's not present with my old dsdt and aserebln.
  7. I have a problem with this DSDT and Chameleon 2 RC5 665. My battery drains too fast, and it says: "Condition: Replace Soon" I know my battery working properly because in windows 7 it can keep for 2 hours. But in Mac, only 1 hour. With my previous DSDT and AsereBLN it worked fine. I've tested the speedstep in cpu-x, and it's working, so I don't know what's going on... Ps.: I've attached a screenshot, and my previous dsdt.aml dsdt.aml.zip
  8. I see. But there is one thing that we need to fix: side-scrolling. It's too sensitive and glitchy, but it worked well with voodoops2 in the EDP - that's in debug mode Do you have any idea how to fix the scrolling?
  9. Do you use any voodoops2 prefpane, or something? Or only VoodooPS2.kext from post #4 without AppleACPIPS2NUB.kext?
  10. What kexts are you use? Voodoopower, voodoobattery? And/or something else?
  11. I see. Well, I tried it (without voodoopower, but voodoobattery is still here), and when I click on the battery indicator, it tells me about I need to replace the battery soon. Then I put back voodoopower, but the message still exist. In the BIOS it says that the battery performs normally. It's a bug, or my battery really goes bad? It can keep for 1,5 or 2 hours.
  12. It's a combination of AnV's new voodoops2, and slashack's ALPS modded ps2 kext. I also used the vanilla trackpad prefpane, tracking and scrolling speed sliders on the 3rd stage. Anything else is from EDP 1.5 RC5.
  13. To get rid of that message, just disable hibernate mode, and remove the sleep image: sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 sudo touch /var/vm/sleepimage sudo rm /var/vm/sleepimage kmand : Use this voodoops2 kext: Link
  14. So, with this, power management works fine without voodoopower?
  15. I've tried to edit the trackpad's plist. Tracking and scrolling works OK now for me Almost perfect, so give it a try Also attached my voodoops2trackpad prefpane. P.s.: Today i've tried a lots of voodoops2 kexts, and this working most usable for me! VoodooPS2D620.zip
  16. Thanks, I try that for the sleep. Back to the trackpad: Seems like the scrollign is a little bit... strange. When I swipe on the trackpad's right side, the scrolling speed is ok, but swipe on the left side, scolling is fast, and messy... So, I want that windows-like scrolling feature, only on the right side. Can it be done?
  17. Thanks mate, it works fine I can adjust the tracking and scrolling speed in system preferences, it just awesome. Off: How did you get sleep working on your d620 / gma950?
  18. I can't get to work scrolling on my trackpad. When I use voodoops2 (from EDP), I got kernel panic. When I use the ApplePS2, scrolling is reversed. So when I swipe up, it scrolls down, and when I swipe down, it scrolls up, oh that's abnormal... And I tried this kext, scrolling not works, neither side-scroll, two finger, and "press two button to scroll" mode... Anybody have ideas what can I do? I really need that scrolling because I use the trackpad most. Thanks! D620, 10.6.6 SL
