  1. Hi both @Jake Lo and @MatiWaldi I did traced this issue and looks like in config file of EFI folder attached in the reply to @MatiWaldi ...are a simple typos under Kernel -> Add section Instead of Plugins there should be MacOS. I didn't had a luck with Voodoo* in your EFI, you can try kexts and config from this archive instead, which worked for my with Clover. V_I2C_PS2.zip Your VoodooInput.kext should be deleted from Kexts folder if you want to try above. It is not mandatory for OC.
  2. Major of changes applied. I've used your EFI content as base then replaced amls, kexts and config with refs. Please rename your current EFI folder to something else, basically save what you have atm then unarchive EFI_v1 and rename to EFI. The best if you will create USB drive with your current existing EFI, which allow you boot your hack again when something will go wrong :-). I've took half of ACPI patches from my Clover setup. Also USBInjectAll.kext has been replaced with custom MBP15,2 XHC set, just for 7400 i7-8665U (I didn't ask but hopefully this is the model which you got?). In theory brightness keys should work without Fn key. Verbose mode add to the boot-args. Please report back issues (if any) with screenshot(s). EFI_v1.zip
  3. Sure thing. Before I had both AAPL,ig-platform-id and device-id set to Iris 655 but with a mistake as below This is incorrect. AAPL,ig-platform-id should be 0900A53E. Anyway, after fiddling with settings again I thought to use UHD 620 values this time. also, framebuffer-conX was not set correctly followed old settings below con1-alldata was set with 00080000, which is HDMI. Compared with others, I've decided to split alldata values and start counting conX from 1 instead of 0. Correct settings are: AAPL, ig-platform-id == 00009B3E device-id == 9B3E0000 with framebuffer as: Everything functioning well afterwards. I did test it with SMBIOS for MBP15,4 and MBP15,2. I do believe with AAPL, ig-platform-id: 0900A53E and device-id: A53E0000 should work as well, followed https://elitemacx86.com/threads/intel-uhd-graphics-620-whiskey-lake-on-laptop-clover-opencore.455 . So, in my case, framebuffer-conX key values were set incorrectly.
  4. Hi @Hpbrown If you're still struggling with brightness keys for 7400 then I do have a fully working F6/F7 setup with SSDT patching for BRT6 Method. Can you be able to share your EFI folder?
  5. Thanks Jake Lo. CPU model is i7-8665U. Actually switching to 15,2 instead didn't make any difference but pointed me to check the framebuffer settings once again. After changing AAPL,ig-platform-id and recheck the fb's conectors 1&2 types ...the problem has been resolved.
  6. Hi, I have 7400 model with custom EFI built for 7400 and weirdly I can't establish fullhd res (1080p) on the external monitor, it is going blank. Is fine when 720 is set instead. I've swapped DP connectors to HDMI in the framebuffer, have full accel. but 720 res is working only without problem unfortunately ...no 1080p. Any advice on where to look? EFI folder with config, essential kexts and amls attached. Thanks EFI.zip
  7. Hey @MatiWaldi Did you fixed your trackpad issue? I'm using Rehab's 1.9.2 PS2 kext atm and it works then with next boot it wierdly doesn't (cursor have "drunk" movement so you can't click or point to anyting at all). Also did you managed hotplug for TB3? Cheers
