AAPL,ig-platform-id 00001659 - change to this device-id 16590000 - add this as well revisit https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config-laptop.plist/coffee-lake.html#acpi for instructions. You’ll need to change your SMBIOS Platform ID to one that is more correct. https://github.com/5T33Z0/OC-Little-Translated/tree/main/10_Kexts_Loading_Sequence_Examples#readme refer to this for kext order Delete UTBmap and use USBinjectall initially for pre-install. I’m no expert but am happy to assist. I’m sure there will be others who can help you fix your issues better than myself.

Looking at your EFI. Have you used propertree to sort your kext order? It doesn’t look like it’s the right order. Also list your specs. I think the device-id for your igpu is incorrect as well. Should be for UHD620?

Working: * Dual Boot macOS Monterey 12.5 / Windows 11 * OpenCore 0.8.3 * CPU - Kabylake R Intel Core i7-8650U (Quad Core, 1.9GHz,15W, vPro) * Memory - 16GB LPDDR4 * GFX - Intel UHD 620 iGPU * AUDIO - Realtek ALC225 * SSD - 2TB M.2 NVME Crucial P2 CT2000P2SSD8 * WiFi/Bluetooth - M.2 BCM94352 DW1560 - Airdrop, Apple Watch unlock, Handover, Sidecar. * MICRO SD CARD READER * 2x USB TYPE-C * 1x USB TYPE-A * ALPS TOUCHPAD - Trackpad Gestures not working but Touchpad, buttons and vertical scrolling works. Must use Karabiner to work. * TOUCHSCREEN with Trackpad gestures * KEYBOARD - Also works when detached and reattached * SLEEP/WAKE Not Working: * Webcam - AVStream 2500 - No kext * WWAN - DW5816E Snapdragon X7 LTE Hi, I’m new to all this and I’m sure many of you have been there as well. I’ve really enjoyed learning how to hackintosh and learning as much as I can from various forums and guides. Getting assistance from an expert or anyone that has come across a similar issue and has a solution is immensely appreciated. It’s been a learning curve on this forum trying to figure things out thru older post. If anyone can assist with the Trackpad Gestures for the touchpad, WWAN and Webcam - That would be awesome. Have tried to get them working but no luck on my end. If someone can help - great. If you can’t - that’s cool too.

Dell 5290 2-in-1: Monterey post-installation issues with OC 0.8.3
Hack.intosh replied to Hack.intosh's topic in 5000 Series
You’ve been of great help and thanks again for the troubleshooting. Also, thanks for the GitHub link, been reading thru it and it’s guides are very helpful, I wish I knew about it earlier for my other builds. It’s been an awesome project and learning curve. This is the first time I’ve attempted to do this from scratch instead of grabbing someone else’s EFI. I got thru the bulk of it but you helped me finished the rest It’s been great fun (and countless hours) which takes a lot of patience and proper reading of the guides but I’d definitely recommend to anyone else that learning and understanding the process is a-lot more rewarding. That way you can fix your own issues during or down the track - I’m def still learning. Kudos to this forum and the geniuses behind it. -
Dell 5290 2-in-1: Monterey post-installation issues with OC 0.8.3

Hey Mate, That EFI did the trick! THANK YOU! TY TY TY!!! Working! I can use this laptop more easily now with the additional ports. So now I'm down to two issues. - No camera detected - AVStream 2500. From my research, apparently there is no fix for this at the moment. - Sleep issue. When the laptop sleeps after 30mins, basically have to do a hard reset and reboot. Also, im gonna look more into your EFI so I can grasp where I went wrong and how I can better understand hackintoshing. -

Hey @Baio77 I just came across something interesting. While the USB detects if it is plugged in prior to turning on the laptop. It will ALSO, re-detect the USB Stick if I eject and re-insert within 1sec but any longer than that and no longer detected. -

Dell 5290 2-in-1: Monterey post-installation issues with OC 0.8.3

I uploaded the EFI with airport kext otherwise it wouldn't allow me to upload. I installed a BCM94352Z wifi card which is compatible for Airdrop. Been working on this all day and have gotten into macOS. Issues now are Display is showing as Intel UHD Graphics 620 9 MB - PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) - I have it as 'ig-platform-id' and if I rename it to 'AAPL,ig-platform-id'. The laptop doesn't boot and keeps restarting at the apple logo. - Touchscreen not working - USB-C ports aren't working yet - Haven't gotten around to it. - Trackpad only works as trackpad. No apple gestures I'm working on these atm and trying to understand more about hackintoshing. It's been a good project. EFI.zip -

Thanks Jake, here's a SS. Is there anything else you need? Also, I'm using MacBookPro14,3 - not sure as to why it's not supporting my platform. -
Hi, I've followed the Dortania guide and have had success with installing macOS Monterey. However, I'm stuck at the post-install stage where an error comes up with OCB: startimage failed - have cleared NVRAM but another error occurs with photo attached. Haven't actually booted into the OS. Just keeps giving me the same errors and rebooting back to OC Picker. Can anyone help? Thanks mate! Really appreciate your help on this. Finally managed to get this working and running on 0.8.1

Shortly after downloading the beta thru software update and always at the 30min remaining mark. Mouse freezes and I'll have to force shutdown.
-
Thanks but unfortunately still freezes. Not sure where I’m going wrong.
-
@Jazzoo I couldn’t manage to boot on my 7490. What changes did you happen to make? My OS freezes shortly after downloading the beta update. Tried .78 .79 and .81 with updated kext - no luck

[Solved] Dell 7280 Monterey post install issues - USB Type C

It's working now. My only concern was about USB Type-C which was resolved with reordering the driver sequence. Thanks a bunch! I've swapped to a new battery and temperature averages 42c Celsius. -
[Solved] Dell 7280 Monterey post install issues - USB Type C
Hack.intosh replied to Hack.intosh's topic in The Archive
Hi Baio, Actually let me retract what I said about it working. It will only detect when I have the usb-c thumb drive connected on reboot. I can eject and reconnect fine. Not the case when it's inserted after powering ON the laptop. Has to be inserted prior to reboot or switching on the laptop. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance IOREG.zip -
[Solved] Dell 7280 Monterey post install issues - USB Type C
Hack.intosh replied to Hack.intosh's topic in The Archive
Thanks Baio. OMG.. That did the trick. U bloody legend! I wish I posted for help sooner. Any idea about the laptop running warm. Would it have anything to do with my ACPI or Kext list? MacBookPro13,2 - IOREG.zip -
Hi OSX team, I am getting a bit desperate trying to resolve the USB Type-C issue with my Dell 7280 in Monterey. I would be grateful for help or pointing in the right direction. Thanks! Everything is working post install but here are the problems I've encountered that need attention... * USB Type-C only detects thumb drive on boot or restart. If I eject the thumb drive and reinsert - it won't detect until I restart the laptop. * Laptop feels pretty warm averaging 48-50c Celsius - Normal? * When battery drains down to 20%. It'll suddenly dip from 20% straight to 6% TROUBLESHOOTING SO FAR: I've YouTubed, googled and read thru the forum as much as I can to figure out these issues but I could use some help please. I've attached IOREG and config.plist for your reference if anyone can assist.
