  1. Was able to get it to boot. I set it up with 2 raid 0 HDD (300 MB/s) and a SSD (500 MB/s) however it seems that apple has capped the read/write because I was never able to see over 250 MB/s which every post I have seen so far is what they are getting, For my setup it was slower but for many users they will find that this is a nice way of having Mac installed. Its just not meant for people like me...
  2. I think this also a example of the myFix issues seen by me with my x79 motherboard. Could be the same issue since if I run myFix and then change my GPU it breaks my install.
  3. -v npci=0x2000 cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No Then install the Nvidia Retail Drivers and remove GraphicsEnabler=Yes from your boot.plist. Also can you send my your raw DSDT again. Been busy... install voodoosync kext to stop using cpus=1
  4. Update to the latest BIOS version then post your DSDT and IOreg (From the IOreg app). Then I will add support for your motherboard on my blog. Also please list what BIOS version it is from.
  5. All you need to boot with is: -v npci=0x2000 cpus=1 With out CPUS=1 it will never boot... and I agree I think your issue is with the nvidia kexts.
  6. My lower DVI port on my card does not work either so you are not alone. You need to patch the controller but for me I only need one screen...
  7. I was able to create the drive and install Mac OS X 10.8.2 however Clover does not see the HDD and SSD with Mac OS X installed on them. Only sees them as a legacy OS. The drive shows up and is working if I boot into my back up drive. Clover does not see any of my drives if they are connected to my SAS card.
  8. Cleaned up your DSDT and completely edited it for you. Added the GPU (With HDMI audio removed so that it would not conflict with VoodooHDA), HDEF, SBUS, LPCB, Names, Ethernet Built in. Enjoy. DSDT.aml.zip
  9. I support all x79 motherboards via my blog: http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/2012/07 ... dati-gpus/ Use my install guide here: http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/os-x-10 ... tain-lion/ Boot with: -v npci=0x2000 cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No Then follow exactly what my guide says to do. I do not think I have a DSDT for your motherboard yet but I can make you one post install.
  10. Wrong layout ID or using the wrong AppleHDA. There are two different versions of ALC887.
  11. Post a IOreg: http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/2012/07 ... use-ioreg/
  12. HERE: http://forum.netkas.org/index.php/topic,3210.0.html
  13. The release was a bit late after 10.8 was released by it works well. I have a side build that I use and it works well with that GPU. I had HDMI audio working in 10.7 but I never tried to look at it in 10.8 Netkas has not made many post as of late... not sure why.
  14. You will have to edit the kexts to get the result that you want.
  15. Netkas has a 48xx exotic kext update for 10.8.x and it works fine for my 4850. Just make sure that you have the device ID's present in the two kexts.
  16. Here is a good start: http://forum.netkas.org/index.php?topic=833.0
  17. Correct. Try installing 10.8.2 since there are new drivers present and also try a different frame buffer.
  18. Shows all there monitors in both.
  19. Aw, ok... now I understand what you were saying. Post a new IOreg so I can get a feel for what is and is not loaded.
  20. Those are adaptors... read this: http://www.overclock.net/t/721931/activ ... -the-truth
  21. Post a new IOreg. Now you are seeing the issue I was referring to. Also list your type of adaptors you are using Passive or the other type...
  22. Have you tested 4 monitors with this DSDT injection? That is what I am referring to. This is a kext limitation.
