that DSDT doesn't work with E6520. I've been trying everything and nothing works. I can load Lion just fine with ethernet working and resolution set to 1600x900x32 (however 64MB is reported). But when I try to run multifail or chameleon, i don't get very far and have to reinstall lion each time. No one has any success with this?

I'm still trying to get successful Lion install on Dell E6520. Help me please. I've reinstalled LION many times and it works great until I mess with multifail. I've been making more progress using champlist. No ones DSDT files are any good. They mess up my boot and give me Kernel Panics. And, immediatly after my first boot, I have the trackpad and the finger pointer between the G and H key (i dont know the real name) works without scroll reverse. Anytime i use anyone elses DSDT or Easy Beast, those features go away. Also ethernet disappears. Anyway, please provide some help. I'm on all of the OS X forums asking for help so please dont ask to go to the links that have already been listed in this forum, I've been there. I normally dont post anything in forums becuase I do know how to research and read for answers. It seems there just isnt any support for the E6520. Maybe because it's expensive, I dont know. UPDATE:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK, so I just ran Verbose (-x) when booting up. I have Kernel Panics: com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform(1.4) dependancy: com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFamily(1.4) dependancy: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(2.6.5) I'm not too sure what to do now. I thought these Kexts or whatever were important to system operation.

UPDATE:--------------------------------------------------- Yep, I had a kernel panic. Ihad to delete the dreaded AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext, To do this I boot into my unifail USB, and enter the terminal. Typed in: rm -rf /Volumes/"Your Leopard Partition No Quotes"/System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext exit, reboot, and hoped for the best

I installed Lion 10.7 using unifail. Got the E6520 booted up just fine. I even used "Graphics Mode"=1600x900x32 flag to get the High Resolution while setting up. That works. I placed the DSDT.aml you posted onto the desktop. I run multifail and select only UserDSDT option. The install worked. Now I reboot and unplug the unifail USB On reboot, I get a Kernel Panic (System Uptime in Nanosecond blah blah blah) with com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement in Verbose switch

Ok, I will try it right now. Thank you. I have the Intel HD 3000 graphics. Is that the same as GMA? And thanks for responding, I have had zero assistance with this so far. Also, how do I switch to the 1600x900 resolution. I don't have your awesome resolution

Intel HD 3000 - Device ID of 8086-0116 0x01168086 just add it on the plist of AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext and QE/CI and resolution should work. " Someone else says, "You don/t need this. Intel HD3000 work's perfectly with chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) 1.5+"

Do you have a DSDT or VERBATIM instructions on how you got this working. I've been on this a week and getting nowhere. Please help with your wisdom.......Thanks

Im also trying to get my e6520 Lat to boot. I'm currently on 10.7.3 using unifail to Boot (chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded)). Once i install multifail, I can not get successful boot. Looking for the most user friendly DSDT if it's out there. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
