I tried to follow the issue with bootloader and 4k.

I can not find the file boot1h there is only boot.efi.

Any idea?

I have an installation of Mavericks on an D830 with nvidia NVS140.

I did the installation with a USB stick prepared with myHack.

All worked fine. After installation the system rebootet.

The problem is now that after the BIOS screen the system will not boot.

I can boot with the USB-Stick and then start OS X from HDD but direct boot from HDD will not work.

Please help

Hi,

so now I figured out, what's happend.

The keyboard with the on/off switch means pairing.

I turned off bluetooth and now I can start the installation.

The information is for anyone who is the same situation.

is there any difference between bootpackages of d820 and m65 ? is nvs120m supported with d820?

 

in the bios, I set multicore to off. Is this correct?

no, I did the "Install Extra" process with the downloaded D820 nVidia bootpack inside vmware.

 

I mean I reboot, change my hdd and boot the usb stick with lion on it.

then I see a lot of messages (5 or 6 pages of them) 

After that the display changes to a grey wallpaper, 

display changes to external vga and a dispplay with an on/off switch is displayed.

Any idea?

The more serious issue is, that after booting from the usb stick i get a picture with a on/off switch.

No input is possible.

today I tried to install Lion on my D820 with nvidia graphic.

 

I generated a bootable USB stick with myHack.

First thing is, that there was no input for Extras.

I did this step aber completion of myHAck.

The installation manual is maybe wrong at this point.

Is this ok?

 

I could boot with this USB stick.

I could not see any kernel panic. 

Display changed from internal display to external display.

A bitmap was shown with a on/off switch.

 

What is going wrong. Please help.
