    For those, who have problem with audio after update OSX to 10.11.4, those files and patches are needed (for Dell Precision M4800/M6800):

     

    Needed kexts to S/L/E:

    AppleHDA.kext (must be original from 10.11.4, without patches!)

    no, the display brightness can not be reduced, if you have Nvidia Optimus disabled in BIOS and OSX runs with Nvidia Quadro only. I have the same problem with Nvidia Quadro K1100M on Dell Precision M4800. But if I enable Nvidia Optimus, OSX runs on Intel HD4600, the brightness can be reduced usin keys FN+F3 I think, but GPU performance is very poor and HDMI or DisplayPort doesn't work, so I can't use larger external LCD monitor.

    issue is M4800 have multi battery ( 1 build in bat + 1 docking bat ).

    + build in bat it native with ACPIBattery by Rehabman.

    + docking bat is can not inject by ACPIBattery .

     

    so when you look at statusbar, if icon pin is disable, that when docking bat was inject.

    ( exactly : boot -> build in Bat inject -> docking bat inject overide -> docking bat icon on status )

    Hi, I have the same problem, but not every time. Maybe properly DSDT patch can do make it work, f.e. delete other batteries in DSDT.

    Just one patch is needed I think. What aboud SSDT for GPU nVidia? It is necesary to patch this SSDT to disable discrete GPU, some _OFF method? Because if I enable "Switchable Graphics" in BIOS, system boots and run on Intel HD4600, but in About this Mac I see 2 GPU: intel and nvidia too.

    OK, I need some advice or help with it. I try to explain my steps, which I done:

     

    1) Install kexts to S/L/E: FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext, FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext

    2) add 0x04128086 to FakeID->IntelGFX (into config.plist)

    3) add binary patch for AppleIntelFramebufferAzul to KextPatches (into config.plist)

     

    Result:

    - Laptop display works with full GPU Intel HD4600 (1536MB), it's recognized properly as internal display 15,5" (1920x1080)

    - Backlight is at highest level and it can't be reduced by keys FN+Down, FN+F3

    - Audio doesn't work

    - Video HDMI or DP output doesn't work

    problems may be with this:
     
    1: my SSDT.aml is for CPU i7-4800mq, yours is i7-4810mq I think, so try it without this file
    2: to work my wifi Dell Wireless 1550 I must insert device and vendor ID to Info.Plist here: /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AirPortBrcm4360.kext/Contents
    and handOff+5GHz support with this wireless_bcm9435-110-v4.0c.command
    3: your display, it is LCD TN, or IPS?

    - patched ACPI DSDT.aml, CPU-secific SSDT.aml for CPU power management

    - kexts for Clover (10.10, 10.11)

    - kexts to S/L/E (AppleHDA is vanilla without any patches, version 272.51.3 from OSX 10.11.2)

     

    Update No. 1:

    OSX can boot with booth options: Enabled or Disabled Switchable Graphic

    BIOS: load default configuration, SATA set to AHCI.

    - Switchable graphic Disabled - internal display brightness is at highest level and can not be changed with any keys (need resolve this problem), nVidia Quadro K1100M full GPU performance + HDMI, DP output, 

    - Switchable graphic Enabled - internal display with changeable brightness level (Fn+Up/Down key), but with poor GPU performance. Integrated Intel HD4600 GPU with no HDMI or DP output.

    Sleep doesn't work properly. Closing LID doesn't work. Only button Fn+sleep works or apple logo+sleep (left corner at top). But system Fans is still running, screens go to black. Wakeup works and also HDMI works after wakeup. USB 3.0 (2x on the left + 2x on right side) work and also eSata port works and it is recognized as USB 3.0 port. USB 2.0 work too, but these ports are internal, for BT... You need DSDT patch for USB 3.0 + needed kext to works in 10.11 El. Capitan. I post all files later.

    Without 3 kexts I got Nvidia Graphics. Ok I will try your files from M6800 and post result.
    P. S. Your photo in link is from M4800, not from M6800. M6800 is 17,3", so it must have wider borders on the left/right side ;)

     

    Update #1:

    After installing HDMIAudio.kext, my sound from internal speaker or headphone jack stopped work. And now only from HDMI output works (connected Sony TV via DP)

    So then I checked your DSDT from M6800 and my from M4800. Its are very similar, so I start make sound working again. I checked HDAU and HDEF in your DSDT and correct in my DSDT. Then I remove every used kexts for sound, removed every patches in Clover config file used for AppleHDA and AppleHDA_ALC292.

    Then I install yours kext AppleHDA, CodecCommander and HDMIAudio again and voila, SOUND WORKS!!!

    Internal speaker, headphone jack and also HDMI output. So I would like to THANK YOU.

    I tried it and also with additional kexts FakePCIID, FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio installed in S/L/E.

     

    Result:

    Internal display works on Intel HD 4600 (1536MB) with better performance + sound works too. But HDMI or DP output doesn't work. I have 24" Dell Monitor and 42"TV Sony. Any of them doesn't work. 

    When I removed these 3 kext mentioned above, HDMI and DP ports works, also together, so I have 3 display connected (internal display, 24" LCD and 42" TV) but with sound from internal speaker or from headphones.
