  1. I would like to report back that my problem is fixed. Pene of Clover team fixed it a by creating a new version of CLOVERX64.efi. This seems only happens to INSYDE UEFI implementation. The detail and patch can be found here: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3259&view=findpost&p=40320 Thank a lot!
  2. I asked my question after checking Clover's ticket site without finding any ticket by search the combination and variation of "slow" + " timer".....
  3. Which version has the bug and upgrade to which version? Thanks!
  4. Clover automatically generated the smbios Hardware Overview: Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro8,3 Processor Name: Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 2.19 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 4 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 8 GB Bus Speed: 5.33 GHz Boot ROM Version: MBP83.0047.B24 SMC Version (system): 1.70f5 Illumination Version: 1.4a6 Serial Number (system): W88F9CDEDF93 Hardware UUID: B601DB9D-28D5-577E-B124-F1D8BFAFAE90 The laptop is:, Acer 5755G, Sandy Bridge, CPU i7-2670Q, Intel 3000 + Nvidia GT540M (disabled) Thanks!
  5. I have both the good and slow ioreg files included. The Nvidia card is disabled. I do not know if there is way to compare the ioreg files to see the differences. When it boots in the slow mode, it is hard to see any gap in the system.log, because I think the Clock is getting slower as well. The last BOOT_TIME is the log for booting up in the slow mode. If I play a song in the slow mode, the sound will be broken like someone keep press play and pause bottons, and I think that is why the error like these are listed: May 5 22:53:13 erics-MacBook-Pro kernel[0]: IOAudioStream[0xffffff8013ab4200]::clipIfNecessary() - adjusting clipped position to (bd,1238) May 5 22:53:13 erics-MacBook-Pro kernel[0]: IOAudioStream[0xffffff8013ab4200]::clipIfNecessary() - Error: attempting to clip to a position more than one buffer ahead of last clip position (c0,1288)->(c2,2b8). Archive.zip system.log.zip
  6. More than half the time, when my system boots up, it takes very long and the system runs very slow. The clock is running like 4 to 5 times slower, and the graphic effect is very lagging. Any idea what is happening? Thanks a lot! eric’s MacBook Pro When Slow.ioreg.zip
  7. I had the same problem. Just power-off completely and boot from cold. It should work.
  8. Found my problem. It is because I boot from Linux. Boot directly into OSX from cold works.
  9. Followed both HDA and HDMI guide, and got sound working, and HDMI and VGA out working. Both the HDMI audio does not working. For AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext, I have to switch the line of VGA and HDMI and get both working like the following: 06 02 00 00 00 01 00 00 09 00 00 00 02 05 00 00 00 08 00 00 06 00 00 00 In Mavericks' sound pref, there is no HDMI audio output device. In Linux, I have another codec3, which I dumped, and it is all about HDMI audio, and I don' t think the guide talked about that at all. Any suggestion please?
  10. Thanks! Used chameleon wizard generated the values, and it works. Thanks!
  11. I see. I am using Clover to load the system, and it automatically set this to be 8.3. Do I need just change it to 8.1 in my config.plist? Thanks!
  12. Why has it to be set MacBookPro8,1? Will MacBookPro8,2 or MacBookPro8,3 works? Thanks
