Thanks. Coming back on my problem of low volume on ALC 282 (Dell Inspiron 3521), 

you are same guy on my git repo 

 

because the sound from jack port is perfect, do you think that i could swap this port with internal speakers? If yes, how could I proceed ?

swap port with ? what ? explain more 

 

well I never had issue of low level audio from any of my patches till now , but as you are having this issue we can try several fixes 

Still the same - no output/input in system pref.

Here is pinlayout, which i got from windows using "Microsoft High Definition Audio Utility (64-bit) v3.3. It dumps pins from windows, and lets export it for view on another computer (It dumps only from win7, but's let's preview saved also in win10, and you get even moore info in utility than this view):

you should try AppleALC which has too many layout for ALC888 

if none of them works for you , don't worry I will make working here

It has no output/input in sytem pref. Only in system report.

typo , you can use it anywhere in start , end , you can find in my patches I used it in end

You level up SPDIFOut, with Input and Output devices. Why ?

its required to make device working separately , read guide carefully 

post you zipped AppleHDA

replace this file in AppleHDA resource and type below command 

sudo touch -f /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
sudo kextcache -u /

PS: never upload a file until you zip it

alc282 my edition is specific to that laptop only , it will require some changes will fit to yours too

I got SPDIFOut to work finally.  Now just need to know if I port my layout3 to layout13 as you did if I can get that issue with the Master Volume Control to work as it did in El Capitan.  In Sierra its full output or mute even though the slider does move all the way to the right and left as it should.  Maybe some AppleHDA or IOAudioFamily Binary patch needed for Sierra?  The source is now available for IOAudioFamily.kext and the readme mentions some changes to the Master Volume Control.

thats great news , do you having issue with using layout 13 ?? you can port it there's no logic behind Mirone is with 3 and I like no 13 most of my files are with it ..

This AppleALC is custom un-official, you can request developers to add officially

Just applied your patch above, but it did not work. still no HDMI.

post config.plist and DSDT 

 

PS: What was the DSDT patch you added earlier? I'm keeping a record of all DSDT patches that are done just in case I need to rebuild my DSDT, etc.

HDEF and IRQ Patch (its neccessary when AppleHDA won't load)
