  1. Thanks for your feedback. I tried that guide, but it did not work. I had an ACPI error at boot. I attach screenshot. If I change inject layout to 11, I lose headphones support, which I use a lot. Headphones microphone does not work either way. Trackpad is the most troublesome here, as there is some lag at the movement and it makes the experience worse. I use a Magic Trackpad instead. The Magic Trackpad has no lag, I don't know why the Dell trackpad has. Regarding Clover, I will remove those ATI+NVIDIA properties. Anything else you see I can improve here? Thanks again.
  2. Hi all, After countless hours of work, I have an almost functional system. My Dell 5490 specs are: Kabylake-R i7-8650 Intel UHD620 16Gb RAM 512 SSD ALC256 USB-C Intel Wifi I2C Trackpad What works: Intel UHD620 Battery Indicator Sound (speakers, microphone, headphones) Wifi (Had to remove Intel and installed a Broadcom one) Bluetooth Airdrop USBs, both A and C Webcam VGA HDMI (With no sound yet) Trackpad (touch click, gestures, no physical buttons yet. Acceleration is not as good as Magic Trackpad is) What does not works: SD card reader (I don't use this) Mouse pointer, or nipple, or whatever its name is (I don't use it) System Definition is MacBook Pro 15,2. I need your help with: - HDMI sound - Trackpad buttons and acceleration. - Any other refinement and inconsistency you see on my configuration. THANKS! CLOVER.zip
  3. It stays black, yes. If I push Fn+Insert, nothing happens. It is not sleeping, as the power button is bright and the HDD led indicates the laptop is doing things. Thanks a lot.
  4. This is not a problem. The sound works! The thing is that when I install clover and then I copy the CLOVER folder into the EFI folder inside EFI partition, the laptop does not boot. If I boot from that USB with the EFI folder I attached, it boots.
  5. After lots of testing, I am always stocked in the same thing. I create a bootable USB with the EFI folder I attach, install Sierra. Everything works OOB (I replaced the wifi card) but sound, which I patch with the file I also attach. Great, everything is OK. But whether I install Clover... Anything I do, the screen dims slowly to black if I try to boot it from Clover. If I boot from the USB and select HDD, everything works. For the sound, I just use kext utility/kext wizard with the kext I attach, nothing else required and Int works. AppleHDA.kext.zip EFI.zip
  6. I tried with VodooHDA, but sound stops working after some minutes. Where do I find ALC292 instructions and files? What can I do regarding the screen going black on startup? Thanks.
  7. Hi all, I have a 5440 (Intel graphic card and 768p screen). I successfully install Sierra, everything working but wifi and audio. Regardless the change I want to make, audio or wifi drivers, on next boot the screen dims to black when apple logo. If I boot with -v, it keeps happening. It's not that the screen suddently goes black, but slowly in about 1 second. In safe mode everything goes well, I get to the OS. If I install official wifi drivers (TP-Link TL-WN725N), it happens. If I try to fix the ALC292 audio, it happens. Any guess what happens? Thanks
  8. I'm n00b on this, could you please elaborate your answer? Much appreciated.
  9. Stuck on error OsxAptioFixDrv. Tried with OsxAptioFix2Drv, but same result. Any idea?
