  1. I will try to help you. Thanks to @Jake Lo I have almost fully working Dell Latitude 7480 with latest High Sierra installed. If you still need help, let me know I will try help you with the installation and basic configuration. I cannot help you with ACPI tables you will need to ask someone else from the forum for help.
  2. As far as I know, it's not possible to have Hot-plug for now.
  3. See install guide https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-el-capitan-clover-guide/&do=findComment&comment=54621 You can try this bootpack for 7480 https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=14622 or use the one for e7470 from install guide (scroll down and look for correct bootpack) BIOS Settings: Set to "Load Default", Apply, then set the following: TPM = Disabled Secure Boot = Disabled UEFI = Enabled SATA Operation = AHCI Wake on Lan /WLan = Disabled Enable Legacy Option ROMs = Enabled (If Ethernet doesn't load, try disabling it instead)
  4. Hi, Both Bootpacks are for Skylake processor. Test yourself. I had no touchscreen in my Dell laptops, so it's hard to say, probably DSDT patching will be necessary. Do you mean WWAN or WLAN cards? You need M.2 card for WLAN for e7470 or 7480. Check for DW1560 or DW1830.
  5. It should be on my kext list. Fake_PCIID.kext installed together with FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext. I try to modify my ACPI table, but still no luck no keyboard or mouse. For Skylake processor, it's better to use HWP Enable, or ssdtPRGen? For now, both are not working, due to the wrong DSDT? 6. I used kext from E7470_BIOSv10.15.4 and config.plist and acpi folder from your previous post. Still no keyboard or trackpad. 7. macOS updated to 10.12.6. I tried to recreate EFI folder using files you provide, but still no keyboard or touchpad support.
  8. Still the same. No keyboard or trackpad support.
  9. Wifi is working with this Bootpack! but I lost keyboard and touchpad support:(
  10. I update BIOS to latest available version 1.5.8. Origin folder from my last post.
  11. I used Bootpacks for e7470. E7470_BIOSv10.15.4 and E7470_v1.15.4_alternate no Ethernet and WiFi. With E7x70_BIOSv1.17.5 I have ethernet and Bluetooth, but no WiFi. Attached EFI folder without themes. EFI.zip origin.zip

  13. Hi Guys, Does anyone try to install macOS Sierra on Latitude 7480? Waiting for mine, date of delivery for the laptop is 06/09/2017. It's a replacement for my e7470. Not sure why, but my offer look like Skylake processor. Maybe mistake. Or maybe they offer one with Skylake and Kabe Lake processor. How about the Docking Station TB16? It's using Thunderbolt, but will it work with macOS? 14. A problem with DW1830 is solved. Jake Lo prepared E7470_v1.15.4_alternate bootpack. New DSDT/SSDT fix problem with WiFi. Airdrop - working Continuity - not working or working slowly like tabs in Safari Universal Clipboard - not working, it worked once Apple Watch auto-unlock not working, get the pop-up unlocking with apple watch, but after a while it ask for password. find my iphone - can be enabled and it's working until restart- it's disabled again after restart I looked for BCM94360 replacment. I found BCM94360CS2 Card To NGFF(M.2) Key A/E Adapter https://goo.gl/images/giwTWH BCM94360CD fit to it, but it's not recognized in BIOS/Windows or macOS. Also antenna connectors not fit and I'm NOT sure if I could close the down cover properly with screws,- card with adaprter is quite big.
  15. If you restore default settings in BIOS, DVMT need to be set once again. Sorry now I see your screenshot. Check Lgacy Boot option in BIOS.On my e7450 it has to be disabled.
