  1. I have a Dell Precision 7710 Laptop that I upgraded from Big Sur to Monterey and I have to have Enable Switchable Graphics checked in the BIOS every time I boot/reboot to enable the Intel HD Graphics P530 iGPU, otherwise, it just boots with a Display 8 MB. Under Big Sur, I ran the Nvidia Quadro M3000M with Enable Switchable Graphics unchecked without issue other than having to close and open the lid after reboot. I have disabled the Nvidia Quadro M3000M with the disable-gpu (true) key under PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x1), I initially disabled it with the boot-arg -wegnoegpu and it behaved the same way. Under PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0), I have the following keys: AAPL,ig-platform-id : 00001619 device-id : 16190000 framebuffer-fbmem : 00009000 framebuffer-patch-enable : 01000000 framebuffer-stolenmem : 00003001 hda-gfx : onboard-1 I followed the Dortania guide for my initial Big Sur setup and for the OpenCore upgrade, which is now 0.9.7 and my kexts (AppleALC, IntelMausi, Lilu, NVMeFix, SMCBatteryManager, SMCDellSensors, SMCProcessor, SMCSuperIO, USBMap, VirtualSMC, VoodooPS2Controller, and WhateverGreen) are the current ones from the past week or so, other than my USBMap. In searching, the most I've found is that it might be a known issue and can be fixed in UEFI rather than the BIOS (currently 1.31.3), but I haven't found any clarification on that. Thanks for any help you could provide and let me know if there's any other details that would help in troubleshooting.
  2. Hello all, I have installed Catalina on Lenovo E470, all work fine but HDMI output don' work. Can someone help me? Here is my config plist and bootlog. Thanxs bootlog.txt.zipconfig.plist.zip
  3. Dear @Jake Lo, thank you for all of your devotion to the whole community firstly and really appreciate!Few days ago I succeeded in installing High Sierra 10.13.6 on my Latitude e5480. Now it seems only no trackpad and hdmi signal output that I am stuck up. Trackpad can only work as normal mouse without gesture support, I am not sure if the model of my laptop support trackpad gesture. Hope you could help me with that. Thanks again! Attachments list are specs of my laptop, EFI folder and debug file. specs of laptop.zip EFI.zip debug_2464.zip
  4. I've gotten sooo close. I was initially able to get clover installed and running, but then struggled with 2 items: Trackpad (wasn't listed at all under system preferences) and Bluetooth. I was able to track down a bootpack from another user's post (pafkata) on here This got me really really close to a perfect setup... Unfortunately, I *still* cannot seem to get my bluetooth working. I know for sure that it does work in linux, as I deliberately ran Fedora 31 live to get the pci and usb information just to be sure I had it all correct. The following is part of the information from lsusb: Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0a5c:21fb Broadcom Corp. iManufacturer 1 Broadcom Corp iProduct 2 BCM20702A0 I can see the device listed under USB Hub in system_information, but bluetooth says nothing found, as does pci. I have the following kext's setup: /C/E/E/k/O AirportBrcmFixup.kext 2.0.6 BrcmFirwareData.kext 2.5.1 USBPorts_E7440.kext /L/E BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext 2.5.1 BrcmPatchRAM3.kext 2.5.1 At this point, not sure what is missing, or what I need to change. I had started with just the bootpack from the above post, it didnt quite work, and started to try to 'hack it together' from there. Any pointers or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks
  5. Hey all, recently been trying to get Mojave up and running on my e6230 following this guide, using this bootpack and using this DSDT file (which fixed my sleep on lid close problems). I'm happy that most everything is working so far (besides the battery indicator seeming inaccurate although I haven't had time to fully test it yet), except for one problem -- I can't change the screen brightness at all, with the option missing altogether from System Preferences > Displays. I've attached my debug report to this post, hopefully it'll help you guys out. Thanks a bunch in advance. debug_24781.zip
  6. Hi, I've installed Mojave 10.14.1 and updated to 10.14.2 on my E7240 with dual boot (Windows 10). All was working fine, included sound from built-in speakers (with Lilu and applealc in clover/UEFI), but now I realize that sound on headphones has a lot of noise and mainly comes from right ear. In windows it works fine. I've read one post or two about relocating codec comander, but I think it has nothing to do with sound based on lilu and applealc. Any idea? I can't connect external speakers without this issue solved. Thanks in advance for yourt attention. Entropic.
