Today I want post my experience with macOS installation on Dell Precision 5510 (Dell-Precision-5510 i7-6820HQ HD530 16G-DDR4 4k-Screen). Following the guide of "soulomoon" https://github.com/soulomoon/Dell-Precision-5510-OSX I have installed and load macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Actually I'm trying to boot and install macOS High Sierra...but...I have not success... I'm using the same CLOVER configuration of Sierra (attached).... The boot stuck at this point...with more problems also in SSDT...and appear "Still Waiting for Root Device" does anyone want to work together to solve the problem? Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 28, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2017 Updated your files for High Sierra Replace files to /EFI/Clover with the attached I find that with your Config and ACPI folder, sleep does not work, it only sleeps the display.
