Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 15, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2017 Hervé is right, if you want to install El Capitan, go with 10.11.4 or higher. You can try with my Clover guide to start with. You could try precision 5510 bootpack on post #2, but leave out the DSDT/SSDT in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched Pay close attention to Note2 on bottom of post 2 regarding DVMT. If you can set it in the BIOS, great! If not, then go with adding lilu & IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup. Once you have a bootable USB installer, boot to the Clover GUI. Hit F4, this will extract raw file in the background, only take a second. You can try continue to install, post error you may encounter here. Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin folder here for patching. Note: make sure there files in there...also include the BIOS version you're running.
