Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 4, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 4, 2017 Sure, it's similar to the E7470 model, you could start by following this guide You could also use the same bootpack, but leave out the ACPI folder. Once you have the USB Installer created, boot to Clover Hit F4 to extract the raw files, it's done in the background. Continue with the installation. Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/Clover/ACPI/Origin here for patching
xNick99
Thanks Jake Lo for your answer! I must set the DVMT to 96MB or isn't needed?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 5, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 5, 2017 If you don't want to mod the BIOS as it might be difficult for some models, you could skip this step by adding 2 new kexts to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Lilu.kext & IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext
xNick99
Ok, i have this wireless + bluetooth card: Intel Dual-Band Wireless-AC 8260;Wi-Fi + BT 4.2 Wireless Card It works with Mac or it needs to be replaced? If i must replace it can you suggest me a Mac-friendly wireless card that is compatible with my laptop? Thanks a lot
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 6, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 6, 2017 There's no support for Intel Wireless, needs to be replaced. I use DW1560 & DW1830, both work well.
xNick99
Here's the origin folder compressed, but i'm not able to install Sierra because when Clover starts show only one icon "Microsoft EFI Boot Manager" or something like this, and there isn't an icon to start sierra installer. Luckily the F4 key worked so i extract the origin folder for patching. origin.zip
