hraharjo
I have a Lenovo Flex 3 laptop which is similar to the Yoga 500 described in this guide (Lenovo Flex 3 is a Yoga 500 without discrete graphics). I have followed all the steps but cannot get the sleep working properly. Every time I woke the system up, the internal display shows nothing but the backlight is lit up. Any other patch or change I could apply in config.plist?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 17, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 17, 2018 your link links back to this thread. have you disabled hibernate mode using terminal? sudo pmset hibernatemode
hraharjo
Did you mean this code? sudo pmset -a hibernate mode 0 I tried that and now my laptop cannot enter sleep mode anymore.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 17, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 17, 2018 hmm that command should not stop sleep mode from working. it just changes it from hibernation to simple sleep. default value is 3 incase you want to revert you can see current status using pmset -g
Administrators Hervé Posted February 18, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 18, 2018 It's sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0not sudo pmset -a hibernate mode 0which won't be accepted. "-a" flag is optional.
