michaelo1981
ok in your guide you say I need to update my config.plist. do I still have to do that after I install or have you done it already?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 25, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 25, 2018 the files I attached are for High Sierra ready, all files and config are up to date. Maybe generate a new serial when done so it'll be unique.
michaelo1981
Sweet! Hey. I think my i5 processor was a big culprit last time. The i7 install going very smooth so far. Not even the video glitch I had before during install with the i5 is happening now
michaelo1981
Came to first hiccup. Copied the kexts to /l/e then ran permissions.sh. Then it froze and had to power down and back up when I did, clover no longer sees macOS install partition. Only windows and macOS recovery partition
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 25, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 25, 2018 what kexts did you copied to /L/E? and was the permission.sh ran successfully? can you boot with the USB installer and then select the newly installed drive?
michaelo1981
I’m reinstalling. I’ll tell you in a few minutes. When i I rebooted it only showed the installer USB driver. windows and the recovery partition. Not my Mac OS partition permissions.sh froze the computer entirely. No mouse or anything. Froze while trying to work on intel HD graphics I think it was but I’ll let you know shortly
