tuanctob48
Hi everyone, I'm a newbie. I tried to install Serria on my M3510 once but that wasn't going well. I booted successfully but it didn't run flawlessly so I uninstalled it. That was 4 months ago, and now I need to install MacOS for my work. I could make the installer USB myself, if there is any boot pack for my machine. If there were not, I think I should start from the beginning. Here is the specs of my laptop and what I did: CPU: i7-6700hq BIOS: 1.18.6 VGA onboard: HD530, I patched DVMT to make it bootable VGA discrete: W5130M, there was no option to disable it in BIOS, I don't know how to disable this one, so may be that's the reason why my machine was so hot then. Ethernet: Intel I219, this one worked fine with the configured clover. Wireless: Intel 8260 but I already have a supported one Touchpad: AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad, I couldn't make it work properly despite of trying all the drivers in this forum. That's all what I did the last time. Is there anything I did wrong? I would be so appreciated if there was a guide to follow. Thanks for reading. Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 2, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 2, 2018 Create the installer, install Clover and then replace the attached contents into /EFI/Clover Follow guide if you need assistance creating the installer Set BIOS to UEFI/AHCI/secure boot disabled Post any issue you might have encounter for further assistance Probably will need DSDT/SSDT patching, so when you got to Clover GUI, hit F4 on the keyboard Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin folder here for patching 3510.zip
tuanctob48
I patched DVMT and installed Serria successfully but I couldn't install clover. So I copied the efi folder to efi partition myself and booted successfully. I find nothing in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin even pressed F4 when I was in Clover GUI. I'm using mausi kext 2.3 for lan. Some times my machine just hang there and I need to reboot by pressing power button. Please help me. Thanks so much.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 5, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 5, 2018 Try Fn+F4 and also check the root if there's an EFI folder.

Administrators Bronxteck Posted May 6, 2018 Administrators Share Posted May 6, 2018 sometimes you have to run disk utility and repair the whole drive it might correct your EFI mount issues or give you a reason why its not mounting.

tuanctob48
Thank you so much. Every thing seems work fine but my touchpad doesn't scroll smoothly and sometime it locks after tapping. Its behavior when scrolling sometime is weird, I don't know how to describe. Anyway, I think I could get used to it. Here is my speed step log. How should I patch power management? Thanks. log.zip
