Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 5, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 5, 2018 You could try AppleALC.kext + Lilu.kext, using layoutid=12. Check DSDT and Config file to change layoutid from 1 to 12, and disable AppleHDA hotpatch in kextToPatch Remove AppleHDA_ALC292.kext Repair permissions and rebuild cache

Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 5, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 5, 2018 does it not auto switch to headphone or it just don't have sound? if the 1st, try sleeping the system with headphone plugged in, then wake it up. Make sure CodecCommander is in /L/E or /S/L/E, not /E/C/k/Other Repair permissions and rebuild cache
Administrators Hervé Posted July 5, 2018 Administrators Share Posted July 5, 2018 Anything else failing, try the this: attached patched AppleHDA in /S/L/E: AppleHDA.kext.zip attached ALC292 dummy kext + CodecCommander kext in /L/E: AppleHDA_ALC292.kext.zip CodecCommander.kext.zip Layout #1 injected in DSDT HDEF device Repair permissions then rebuild your cache. You should have audio , including off the jack socket. That's what I use on my E6440.
