Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 28, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2018 Note: Kexts must be inside Other or 10.13 or whatever OSX version you're installing to be read/load, or in /L/E. No need to repair permission or rebuild cache if kext are moved around in Clover kexts. What same error?
itzkr0me
I still have no QE/CI. The screenshot of my graphics is the same after removing the fakeID (which was put there in an effort to resolve, after watching some YT vids.) Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 28, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2018 That fakeID is for Haswell HD4400/HD4600, not for Broadwell HD5500. Did you remove any Broadwell kexts from /S/L/E?
itzkr0me
I did not remove anything from /L/E or /S/L/E. Everything was put into the system from the ZIP you posted earlier in this thread, from my USB install drive after installing macOS. I've attached a screenshot of something odd I saw in verbose when I last booted about the GPU
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 29, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2018 What's the source of your installer?
itzkr0me
if I understand your question, I created the installer through your guide and had some issues. I then put the ZIP you included in this post to get it to boot into the install. Then I followed the post install steps of putting the folders from USB into the macOS HDD. Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 29, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2018 I mean where did you get the High Sierra app to build the installer? Appstore, torrent ...etc.
itzkr0me
Appstore, downloaded from a VM of high sierra on my main PC (vmworkstation player)
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 29, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2018 Hmm, reason I asked is because I see AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer (10.3.6) in your log and it should be 10.36.19 if you're running 10.13.6. So not sure you got those file versions from. Here, replace these into /S/L/E, files from my 10.13.6. Repair permissions and rebuild cache Broadwell_10.13.6.zip
itzkr0me
I so badly wanted that to work, but I'm still not seeing intel in there and my graphics is showing "Display 7 mb" Attached another problem reporting log. debug_20901.zip
