TheOtherOne
Thank you again Jake Lo now usb works, sound works and the flickering is gone, feels better now. do you have an idea how to check what's wrong when the lid is closed, the power chord is plugged in and the system wakes up and sleeps down on and on? This is the last thing I would ask for until Mojave runs smooth.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 23, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2018 So you're saying system won't sleep...? run this in terminal and post output log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"
TheOtherOne
no it falls asleep , when it is sleeping and the power chord is in, then it goes up and down, when I unplug the chord then it sleeps like it should do... the log list is very long, sure I post it in here? Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 23, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2018 Don't understand what you mean by "goes up and down"? Try this instead log show --start "2018-12-23" | grep "Wake reason"

When I close the lid with power chord, the laptop goes to sleep and immediately it wakes up again, falls to sleep, wakes up without chord it stays asleep and the led just lights up and down. TheOtherOne
Did you follow this Guide? Where are the problems? I’ll post my current EFI later this evening. I was able to install Mojave’s after I disabled the Hdd in bios. Then all the issues during install were gone. Which version of the e6540 do you have?
