dell latitude 7490
Hello I replaced the internal disk Win10 by a new SSD M.2 SATA with OS Catalina. The disk containing WIndows10 is now in an external case. I'd like at the start of clover choose or start, Win10 or OS Catalina. It is possible ? How to proceed ? Thx
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 10, 2020 Moderators Share Posted January 10, 2020 Yes. In your EFI, make sure you have the Microsoft folder and in Config file, under Boot, you have Timeout set a number of seconds you want to count down
dell latitude 7490
At the start of clover, if I plug the external disk containing W10 I see all the partition of W10 but I can’t opening none of them. If I put the disk containing the W10 system in internal (in the laptop) it works !
Administrators Hervé Posted January 10, 2020 Administrators Share Posted January 10, 2020 I'm not sure Win10 can be booted off USB in such a way. Google For booting Win10 off USB and follow what you find. This more a Windows issue than a Hackintosh one...
