linuxchan6
I am dual booting Windows 10 and Mojave for many months. Each OS is in its separate drive. After Bios upgrade from 1.9.0 to 1.14.2, when I tried to boot to Mojave, It stuck at Error allocating 0x14198 page at 0x000000001749a000 alloc type2. Couldn't allocate runtime area. The error message remains even reverted back to 1.9.0. Any help is appreciated.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 14, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 14, 2020 @linuxchan6 I'm running Catalina/Clover and just updated the 5510 to latest BIOS 1.14.2 without any issue. Are you running with static DSDT or hot patching? If with static DSDT, then you'll need to repatch your new DSDT.
linuxchan6
Thank you for your reply. I am using hot patching. I have attached my config.plistconfig.plist.zip
linuxchan6
I was able to fix this issue by replacing ptioMemoryFix.efi with ptioMemoryFix-64.efi. Thanks for all the help.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 21, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 21, 2020 Hmm, you must be using an older version of Clover. There's only AptioMemoryFix.efi, no AptioMemoryFix-64.efi in the latest Clover.
