PMD 0
After rebuilding kextcache and rebooting, it could sleep pretty well. There's only Handoff issue right now. Anyway thank you so much
PMD 0
@Jake Lo Have you updated OpenCore to 0.6.1 on your Latitude? Are there any further settings for Latitudes compared to 0.6.0?
Nhật An 0
When I updated to opencore 0. 6. 1, it took me 4 minutes to boot into macos. Finally I went back to opencore 0. 6.
Moderators Jake Lo 1699 Posted September 9, 2020 Moderators Share Posted September 9, 2020 When updating OC, you'll need to update the Config file too otherwise it'll either boot slowly or it'll crash as I had experienced. There are a bunch of new security settings and some other, so go through the OpenCore sanity check to see what's missing or compare with the sample.plist. /!\ Important, the new value SecureBootModel must be set to Disabled, otherwise it won't boot. PMD 0
@Jake Lo Although SecureBootModel was Default, it booted. Is there any special settings for Latitude? I've had some yellow warnings on OC sanity checker.
PMD 0
@Jake Lo Do these yellow warnings need to be fixed? OpenCore config.plist Sanity Checker.webarchive.zip
Moderators Jake Lo 1699 Posted September 9, 2020 Moderators Share Posted September 9, 2020 No, they are fine. Only thing special is needing these set which you have already. They fix the truncated SMBios name for some Dell system. CustomSMBIOSGuid = Yes UpdateSMBIOSMode = Custom
PMD 0
Is it right and enough for OC 0.6.1. It boots a bit slowly
