davidfrei7as
Hi guys! I tried the hackintosh on my Latitude 3400, but I was unsuccessful. I used the folders and files posted here, but I still had problems. The trackpad, audio did not work and some settings in the installation of the clover and in the completion of the SSDT file were different from the tutorial indicated here. I already researched a lot but unfortunately I still haven't got it. I really want to do this. If someone there was able to do the hackintosh successfully (I already know that the wifi will not work) could post your folder with the files, please ?! davidfrei7as
I followed all the instructions in this post and my hackintosh is working with the exception of wifi (I already know that my card is not compatible) and ethernet. I would like help to make ethernet work. Thank you very much in advance!
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 23, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 23, 2020 @davidfrei7as If you have an Intel Wifi, give this a try, no guarantee. Add kext to kexts/Other and use the app to connect. As for ethernet, is it also an Intel or something else? If it's an Intel, use Intelmausi.kext IntelWifi.zip
davidfrei7as
I have this Wifi: Qualcomm QCA61x4A adaptador sem fio 802.11ac Ethernet: Controlador da família Realtek PCIe GbE
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 23, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 23, 2020 Nope, wifi not supported As for Realtek Ethernet, since you didn't mention the complete model VEN/Prod ID, I could only advise you to try one of these RealtekRTL8100.kext RealtekRTL8111.kext
davidfrei7as
@Jake Lo I already tried with these two kexts that you indicated, but it didn't work. I also tried with RealtekR1000SL.kext but it didn't work
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 23, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 23, 2020 post the device VEN/PROD ID Make sure you don't have both version running at the same thing Check if you have it in /L/E or /S/L/E
davidfrei7as
@Jake Lo Thanks a lot for the help. would that be the information you need ?! PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&CC_0200
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 23, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 23, 2020 Correct. This would be the best kext for it As I mentioned earlier, make sure you don't have other versions anywhere else RealtekRTL8111.kext.zip
