marliwahoo
I've been able to get Big Sur with opencore running with a modified version of your e7470 efi folder. I cant get the RealtekRTL8111.kext working and suspect that its because of the e7470 SSDT's. I've changed the config.plist to load the correct kexts. Could I get some help with the SSDT's? Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 23, 2020 Moderators Share Posted November 23, 2020 Post your OC folder + IOReg file using IORegistryExplorer.app There're no ethernet patches hard coded in the SSDT's if you're using my OC files
marliwahoo
Here you are. I've only made minimum changes to your e7470 EFI. Thanks!
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 24, 2020 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2020 I don't see you added RealtekRTL8111 in the OC folder or IOReg file. You can disable IntelMausi since it's not needed and replace it with RealtekRTL8111.kext
marliwahoo
Sorry, I added the RTL8111.kext earlier. Somehow I sent the wrong oc file. Regenerated IOREG. Resending .....
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 24, 2020 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2020 You added the kext but did not enter the info in the Config file. Unlike Clover, you need to manually add each kext + plugin (if available) to the Config file in order for it to load. Here, added it for you, give it a try. config.plist.zip
marliwahoo
It works now! I did actually add it, but I guess I didn't save it. It's just been like that today. I'm posting a new oc folder w/o my serial number. Maybe we could delete the others. Thank you so much!! Working 3740 oc folder for Big Sur. 3470.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 24, 2020 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2020 Does all the USB ports work? Because SSDT-UIAC-E7470 is specifically generated for E7470. Plug in USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices to each port and see if they mount. If not, then you'll need to generate your own for that system using Hackintool.app under USB tab.
