mosfet51
Hello, I found this thread very useful !!! I have just started my first hackintosh following the Dortania's OpenCore Install Guide and it does not work. @austincloudguru When I compare to your config.plist I dont' event know where you have found all this information ... Can you share ths whole stuff (kext and acpi...) ? I am attaching my current efi. Thanks. EFI-v0-KO.7z
Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 12, 2021 Moderators Share Posted March 12, 2021 Give this a try, replace Config file Add ssdt* to ACPI folder Add kexts to *Kexts folder to your files Latitude 7400 OC_0.6.7.zip

mosfet51
Finally I took a EFI from another 7400 thread titled "Latitude 7400 OpenCore" and I am progressing a bit since I could see the Apple logo but then it rebooted. Now I would like to test an update of the EFI done by aaugustowski but in my case I have an i5-8365U and not an i7 so I have to decompile his acpi files to change that ... Update: does not work either....
Administrators Hervé Posted March 12, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 12, 2021 No, CPU model makes no difference to the OpenCore setup, except for graphics and SMBIOS settings if iGPUs differ. Post your specs in signature, you'll make everyone's life easier.
mosfet51
Finally I have found a better version that seems to boot a bit further until a kernel panic about IONVMeFamilly (I normally have NVMeFix.kext) I have attached aida64 with all the information about pc and my original dsdt. Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 13, 2021 Moderators Share Posted March 13, 2021 @mosfet51 Your Micron 2200s NVMe is not supported. Replace with a compatible NVMe drive.
Administrators Hervé Posted March 13, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 13, 2021 You appear to have a Micron 2200s SSD in that Latitude 7400. Those are known to be troublesome with macOS and you should consider replacing it. https://dortania.github.io/Anti-Hackintosh-Buyers-Guide/Storage.html
mosfet51
too bad . Is is possible to disassemble and replace it by a supported one or in the best scenario it would be an external ssd ?
