luisss28
Hello, Im new in this Hackintosh thing and I have tried different configurations to make it work, right now I'm using a virtual machine but I want to make it run successfully. Administrators Hervé Posted June 28, 2021 Administrators Share Posted June 28, 2021 The patched DSDT I had posted often gave problems so if it's still in the bootpack, remove it. Its sole purpose was to enable the brightness keys but there are other ways to achieve this.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 29, 2021 Moderators Share Posted June 29, 2021 what type of drive/model does it have? Certain NVMe drives are unsupported.
Administrators Hervé Posted June 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted June 29, 2021 I would not have expected any downgrade to be required given that the 7490, when I had it, never suffered any issue related to BIOS upgrades and I did a few. You can safely go back to the latest version.
luisss28
I have NVMe PC611 SK hy. but anyway it should start the installation right? I change my boot from raid to AHCI every time I have to run win but no other thing is moved so I don't know what I'm doing wrong
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 29, 2021 Moderators Share Posted June 29, 2021 So you're switching to RAID when installing MacOS? You should stick with AHCI for MacOS as stated in the BIOS setting in Hervé's guide.
