Moderators Jake Lo Posted Tuesday at 12:44 AM Moderators Share Posted Tuesday at 12:44 AM What's the model of your Wifi / BT combo? You have both Intel and Broadcom kexts for Wifi, but only Broadcom BT kexts. If you have Intel combo, then remove all the Broadcom kexts and add the Intel BT kext: IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext Post IOReg file
Akerbeltz14
Thanks for replying, I have intel wifi/BT combo, I erased Broadcom kexts from OC/Kexts and config.plist and added IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext and bluetoolfixup.kext, now Bluetooth is working, but I can't get Airdrop to work. Akerbeltz14
Understood. Thanks so much Jake Lo! But... I have another problem, headphone jack has a loud static beep sound every time I connect it. What could it cause that problem? thanks
Administrators Hervé Posted Wednesday at 05:10 PM Administrators Share Posted Wednesday at 05:10 PM You're now off-topic but do try and disable that SSDT-ALC256 patched tab of yours. I don't think you need it, especially given that you do not appear to use CodecCommander kext. Then, there appears to be a discrepancy between your OC config and the info shown in IOReg: You need to address that... https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs 'pretty sure ALC256 layout id 11 (0x0B) should work perfectly.
