Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 8, 2022 Moderators Share Posted December 8, 2022 you need to include VoodooInput.kext plugin inside Voodoops2controller
Andres Galeano
this is the kext i have installed VoodooPS2Controller.kext.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 8, 2022 Moderators Share Posted December 8, 2022 correct, you don't have VoodooInput enabled or added to your config file. I made the additional to the config. give it a try Config.plist.zip
Andres Galeano
Thanks, I'll try it myself
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 8, 2022 Moderators Share Posted December 8, 2022 What's the issue with Brightness? Fn+ arrow keys not working to adjust or the slider doesn't work?
Andres Galeano
the keyboard shortcuts do work, what doesn't work is the brightness regulation in the system either with the shortcut or with the taskbar one. And thank you very much you solved the trackpad issue you are a genius I got the brightness to work by changing the frequency in the display section from 60hz to 40hz Out of curiosity I put it back to 60Hz and the brightness works great Now my question is will my EFI work for the latest version of MAC OS? since I currently use big sur thanks for all the help and for being active in the blogs thank you very much
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 8, 2022 Moderators Share Posted December 8, 2022 the highest Macos you can run is Monterey, Ventura has removed all support for Haswell gpu. Looking at the files, you only need to upgrade the Intel Wireless and Bluetooth kext to support Monterey. you can remove the following from the kext folder ApplePS2Controller AtherosE2200Ethernet CpuTscSync CtlnaAHCIPort SATA-unsupported USBInjectAll XHCI-unsupported
