Darvinko
Apple has dropped Developers Preview 2 yesterday, available through software update. It is a large update of almost 1.5GB. I am downloading now to a partition to review changes. Didn't notice a mention of it, will update changes as I can.
Administrators Hervé Posted June 26, 2013 Administrators Share Posted June 26, 2013 Big update indeed. Safely updated the D630. Nothing lost as far as I can see so far...
Darvinko
E6400/E6500 series laptops appear to be safe. Only things noticeable so far are change in build number and in S/L/E previous ATI graphics kexts are now named AMD. Slightly slower boot after a longer than expected restart from update was remedied by running a MyFix, but I had not rebuilt kext cache after adding iLife '11 and a few apps. DaFOB
The update to DP3 via the App Store was also straight forward and uneventful for the E6400/E6500/M4400. Everything seems to be working as it did in DP2.
