Administrators Bronxteck Posted August 4, 2013 Administrators Share Posted August 4, 2013 are you using a dsdt with graphics injection? if not look at the d630 gma. it has very similar specs.
Administrators Hervé Posted August 4, 2013 Administrators Share Posted August 4, 2013 Can you tell us what settings you're using? I see reference to MBP5,1 at the bottom... I take it you're booting in 32bit mode as there are no 64bit kexts for the X3100, right?
dalocnar
i have figured out the issue causing the kernel panic now, however i got 10.7.5 working, however my intelcpumonitor.kext is whats causing the gmax3100 kp, any suggestions? and also basically my harddrive isnt showing up wifi/ethernet isnt working as well... as if the motherboard drivers are missing now... I test off an external drive then clone to my pc drive if everything works..
Administrators Hervé Posted August 5, 2013 Administrators Share Posted August 5, 2013 If the CPUMonitor kext is giving you issue, get rid of it. You may try a different FakeSMC version ( a recent one) and with the newer plugIns, you don't need that kext at all. You may grab the FakeSMC kext + HWMonitor app from here: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2848-native-speedstep-on-c2d-d4xx/ then edit the kext plist according to your SMBIOS plist profile as detailed in the article here: http://www.osxlatitude.com/tuning-performance-with-fakesmc-smbios-plist/ For your HDD, you probably require the patched IOATAFamily kext (available in D630 boot pack). For your wireless, it depends entirely on the card that you have: Intel are not supported, some Broadcom require a patched next, some work OOB, etc. Look here for a non-exhustive list of supported models: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2120-wireless-cards-inventory/ This is not a model we have in EDP, so let's integrate it!
