keltonturvey
The eSATA port on the back is also a USB port Ah, I see it is! Can you let me know what you used to get the SD card slot working please? Also did you get multitouch on the trackpad?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 11, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 11, 2014 I created a guide for this model here with Mavericks 10.9.4. Sleep, multi-touch are working.
GameOver69
First off, thanks for the guide! So i followed this guide to the letter and have one issue on the latest version of Mavericks. I have the Core i-5 version of this with the higher resolution display. Everything works, including video, but everything displays "slow" so to speak. Like there is no graphics acceleration. There is definitely no QI/CE enabled. Any suggestions on how to get this to run optimally? Any help would be very much appreciated.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 7, 2014 GameOver69, I assume you have replace the FB for the higher resolution? What processor do you have? i5 what? I could generate the correct SSDT for you, perhaps it might fix the issue.
GameOver69
JakeLo, yes i have replaced the FB. The processor i have i an intel i5 3437u @ 1.9GHz. If you generate the SSDT to get this working, that would be great! Thank you!
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 7, 2014 Here you go, let me know if it makes it run better. ssdt.aml.zip
GameOver69
Thanks for the file, but after i backed up the old file and replaced it with the one you provided, nothing changed. I did notice the text within the new file you sent me is odd. Also the icon doesn't even show up as a Unix Executable File, but as a Document, even shows that when i GET INFO on the file. See pastebin of new file: http://pastebin.com/15CYLzu1 this is the original http://pastebin.com/GuDhprZe Any ideas?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 8, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 8, 2014 Just downloaded the file, looks fine here. Try to redownload.
GameOver69
I did redownload same result... For kicks I downloaded it on my phone.. Unzipped it and viewed it with a text editor... And same thing... All mubo jumbo like the paste bin... Can you paste in the contents of the new file? I'll just copy and paste it.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 8, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 8, 2014 You can't read binary file with a text editor. You need a program like maciasl.app
