api
Hi All, it is litterally as the title says... I've got 2x e6400's both need to be running OSX ideally, I've got an Intel Based d630 and so I've done all this before, but I've been going through the threads and it appears that everyone just wants to give guides on the nVidia GPU model and nobody has an extras folder in a zip for the Intel one anyway! :'( Can anyone help? I've disabled the Wifi while the broadcom cards are on order so that's not an issue but the GPU side of things needs to be better than the constant flickering @ 1024x768 i've had so far with Mountain Lion... So now I'm thinking do I need to go as far back as Snow Leopard to get it running tidy or maybe Lion? Any advice (other than get the nVidia variants...(as that's simply not an option...)) is grately appreciated! Thanks, Adam.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2013 well early e series used i think gma 4500 but i am not sure. if so it would need a lot of tweaking to just maybe get it working you would need modified intel graphics frame buffers. maybe google your specs. Administrators Hervé Posted October 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2013 You should be able to boot a myHack USB installer. Make sure to have the lspcidrv kext in /E/E of that installer. It'll allow you to go to Utilities->Terminal and type the command lspci -nn to display your hardware specs. Give us the PCI ids of your reported graphics card and we'll see how we can help you.
