ashindnile
Well until 10.8.5 ML it had no trouble connecting to secure networks. And since this release specifically claims to solve a connectivity issue, I figured this might be it. Is it?

ashindnile
Hey! Any chances you've got a solution for Yosemite? It's killing me to use ethernet.
GenoKiller
I currently have no idea if this will work for Yosemite, as I haven't gotten Yosemite working on my E6400. As soon as I get Yosemite running, including all kexts, then I will try WiFi.Thank you for your time.
GenoKiller
Hello everyone. I have recently gotten Yosemite working on my computer. Now the only problem is, the 4312 card, is not working. I have gotten it to show up once, unfortunately haven't been able to find/connect to any networks, other than open networks.I'm going to try rebranding, and if that is successful, I'll post the good news. Rebranding may be the only option. I'm actually currently using an Apple Airport Express Card (14e4, 4328)from my Macbook 4,1 (unfortunately, I can't seem to get the BCM4312 working under Lion like I did in my Latitude, any suggestions would be helpful) in my computer for networking, and is working perfectly. If anyone else is interested in the rebranding technique, PM me, and we can figure this out together.Sorry for replying late to this post. luke9511
Its best to try and find a card that works out of the box instead of trying to get that one to work, a DW1490 works perfectly
